      Hello,

      I have configured my PC so that the WOL (magic packet) works.

      Connected directly to my pFsense (Services -> Wake-on-LAN), while at home, it works.
      From an application on my Android phone, while at home and on my WiFi, it works.

      However, if I'm not at home and connected with OpenVPN (pFsense), the same “magic packet” doesn't work.

      What rule should I set on my “OpenVPN” VLAN so that it lets this “magic packet” through on my LAN?

      Thanks for your advice and help😊

      I started with two "no-name" pfsense, one for use at home and the other as a backup in case of problems (which can happen when you're new to pfsense).
      ... And now I'm living with a Netgate 8200
      ... And sorry for my bad English...

        @SwissSteph
        WOL magic packet is not rout-able, it can not work over routed OpenVPN connections.

          If you're still connecting the pfSense webgui and sending the WoL packet that way it wouldn't make difference how you're connecting.

            Hello,

            Thank you for your answers and clarifications, I'm learning a lot here 😊

            I'm going to switch from “WebGUI pfSense”, that suits me too.
