Should I turn off logging (Log checked) of the the LAN PV6 generated rule “Easy Rule: Passed from Firewall Log View”? Generates a lot of log lines and when would I need them? Been there since 2017. Thanks.

Yes, probably. I wouldn't logging on a pass-all rule like that. Usually you only enable logging on pass rules for debugging or because you want to record a specific rule use.

@MarioG I am with Steve - the only time you would want to log allows that are wide open like that would be troubleshooting something, and even then would prob limit it to the host your using for the trouble shooting.

Or you want to get a record of where stuff on your network is going so you could create specific rules, and lock everything else down.

But sure wouldn't leave something like that in just day to day operation. Its going to create a lot of log..
