Routing ipv6 across tunnel
-
I have my main firewall connected via /26 ipv4 with ipsec tunnels to 3 other remote pfsense firewalls and it has worked for years. Recently my isp gave me a /48 ipv6. I spent all day working with chatgpt (what a joke) to configure tunnels to route a /64 to one of my sites with the intention of doing it to all three. These 3 sites the ISP dos not support ipv6 so I wanted to route all of the ipv6 traffic across the LAN interfaces and over the tunnel to the main site that has ipv6. I tried it with both openvpn and ipsec and ended up hosing the main firewall. I told it to reboot and it is not coming back so I may have to wait until Monday to get access to undo what was done. But after spending the last two days on this I am wondering if this is even possible. The main firewall has ipv6 on both the WAN and LAN interfaces. The WAN interface is a /64 separate from my /48 and I was going to subnet my /48 into /64's with one /64 for each of the other 3 sites at first. Can anyone tell me if this is possible or if there is any documentation anywhere on how to make this work?
