      Hi there,

for a long time, my OpenVPN works fine but since a few weeks after migrate pfsense to a new machine and have no backup of my old configuration i start from scratch and my OpenVPN wont work. i can only connect to vpn inside my network but not from outside and i think its a dns problem.

For me the question is how dns is correctly configured...

      • General Configuration -> place DNS Servers, enable Allow DNS Override?, Use Local and ignore remote DNS or Use local and fall back to remote DNS?
      • Use DNS Resolver? Enable Forwarding Mode or not?
      • Use DNS Forwarder?

I use pfblockerNG, for this dns resolver must be used and python module have to be enabled otherwise pfblockerng wont work well or am i mistake?

I want a correct and stable DNS configuration and ask the experts for the best solution 😉

      Best Regards
      Dominik
