I'm quite a novice when it comes to pfsense and FreeBSD so I hope my question makes sense.

When installing pfsense using the Auto (ZFS) + MBR (BIOS) + disk encryption options in the installer, the installation creates what I believe is known as a separate unencrypted "bootpool". As far as I understand, with Auto (ZFS) + UEFI + disk encryption options this isn't the case and boot is inside the encrypted root.

Is there a way I can install a UEFI system with the same ZFS and encryption options but continuing to use an unencrypted bootpool?
