Since upgrade to CE 2.8 the plus branche is gone.
Wen ik click on "update settings" there is no other branche to select.
I thought maybe reenter the token but wen i want to do that it says my system is already known bij Netgate.

Somebody an idea what is wrong?

@Gerard64 2.8 is newer than plus 24.11. They probably don’t have an upgrade path for that. If it’s detected for the NDI you should be able to install Plus via the Installer.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

Hmm oke. I don't want to change from CE to Plus I just wanted to let you know the update/upgrade might not work right.

Where do i found this installer you are talking about?

I also checked the update option (13) in the shell with the same result.
I don't think this looks right too with html tags showing?

@Gerard64 The installer is: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/install/netinstaller.html. If it sees a Plus eligible device it should default to that but you can force it to CE: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/install/install-walkthrough.html#advanced-options

13/"update from console" runs the update. There isn't one yet, for 2.8. Not sure about the HTML there, that may be a bug. Probably few people put a token in the GUI and try to upgrade from console...? You could make a report at redmine.pfsense.org.

I would expect that after 25.03 is released one may be able to upgrade from CE to Plus again?

That makes a lot of sense.
              Thank you!

Yes, exactly that. You cannot downgrade and 2.8 is newer than 24.11. When 25.03 is released it show as an available branch for eligible devices.
