Cannot Upgrade to 2.8.0 und multiple hosts

Hi all,
I am unable to upgrade to 2.8.0 on quite a few hosts, the update is shown on the dashboard, but when trying to upgrade, it shows that current version is 2.7.2 and latest base release also would be 2.7.2 and therefore it refuses to update.
Has anyone exoerienced this and found a solution? I tried the hints in the troubeshooting upgrades section of the documentation, but to no avail.

Did you select the 2.8 branch from the drop down menu?
It no longer automatically opts you into the new branch (which caused numerous problems in the past). The dashboard update check will show you 2.8 is available but you must select the 2.8 branch to actually upgrade to it.

Hi,
i tried that, but that did not work. But now comes the catch: After doing so, it shows Version 2.8.0.1500029 on the start screen, updating to that actually works, without changing the branch, because then it selects 2.8.0 from the get-go and it does the job. I just havent tried this sequence.
Strange, but hey ist works!
