No Internet. Netgate won't boot. AFTER ISC-->KEA change
-
Hi,
New to forum. Been running pfsense on homebuild for 4 years, with default settings.. Had some time to try to learn pfsense/networking so upgraded to Netgate 4200 appliance and 24.11 RELEASE 2 weeks ago. Still default settings. No issue. Network running just fine.
Today I was going to begin making some changes but saw the ICS DHCP decommissioning message so decided to make change to KEA DHCP my first action.
System-->Advanced-->Networking
Clicked KEA radio button and SAVENetwork was very slow after. After about 10 minutes Leases started to appear. Response times slowed in pfsense with each click.
I was checking system logs (not that I know what they mean) when I lost internet connection. Rebooted desktop, then tried a soft shutdown of the 4200 and power cycle.
2-3 minutes after power up, the Netgate 4200 has solid blue light at bottom right ROUND led. The other 5 are dark including the diamond. No Internet service in network.
How do I get service back so I can change back to ISC DHCP. Not a good start for my pfsense exploration.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you
