@rotorbudd do you see
::1
or really::10
? What pfSense version? -
@patient0
25.07 and it's ::1. You know what it is?
DNS server(s)
127.0.0.1
::1
9.9.9.9
95.85.95.85
1.1.1.1
8.8.8.8 -

::1
is the IPv6 equivalent of localhost/127.0.0.1. -
@patient0
Just googled it.
I don't use IPv6. should I block it at the interface? I'm using Starlink as a provider -

I see no reason to block it, it's IPv6 localhost, only accessible from the firewall itself, the same as 127.0.0.1.
Btw: do you have good results with using different DNS forwarders (1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8. 9.9.9.9)? Since they all use different block list, you never run into issues that something is blocked on one service and not on another?
