      Has anyone managed to install iperf3 on pfSense 25.07.1-RELEASE?
      I installed the package I found in the repository and, after it initially worked and I ran a couple of tests, I’m no longer able to start the service. The red icon stays on and the service won’t restart, even if I force it or reboot pfSense. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but no luck.

        hey there,
        same here: pfsense landing page shows "iperf stays red". Even after manually starting the service...

        BUT: while status "red" ;) I started pfsense with iperf (server) and connected with my pc (client), iperf test ran thru, working...and (tadaaa) landing page then (by itself) switches to status "green" (running).

        So, might just be a minor bug. Iperf3 IS working still. At least on my system here (pfsense 25.07.1). Hope that helps a little...have a nice weekend!

          Thanks for your reply. The problem is that when iPref shows the “read” icon, I can’t find it listed as a service in the GUI under the Services menu. It seems you can probably manage it only through CLI commands, which isn’t a great solution.

            @elucfol hey there,
            okay, here it showed up under DIAGNOSTICS just as usual (even while "not running" on landing page...).

              you're right, I'm still confused about where to find it. The red flag remains, probably just a minor bug
