      Is the upgrade from 2.7.2 to 2.8.0 stable now? What about to 2.8.1?

      I'm seeing many postings about 2.8.0/2.8.1 annomalies.

      When I tried this several months ago, my system started spitting out errors becasue of an IPv6 address from ISP. So I immediately went back to 2.7.2 which is quite stable for me.

        @Wylbur Hello, I went directly 2.8.1 from 2.7.2
        I have a small mini pc and it runs pfsense as a VM in Proxmox. It may depend on your configuration, but so far, I had no problems, Im running WireGuard to a VPN Provider, SNORT, Squid-Proxy, Taislcale, pfblocker and the normal rest which comes standard with pfsense. I can say, after now approx. 3 weeks, its running smooth and stable on my X86 miniPC.

        But maybe difrent, for people, that have a more complex setup then mine...

          @TommyMoo

          Thank you. My problems had to do with IPv6 which I configured to block.... So I will schedule time to update my back up system and see how it goes.

            @Wylbur I also block IPv6 on my WAN interface, all fine, doing only IPv4 in my Lan and to my WireGuard VPN Provider, no IPv6 @ all... LOL... All is working fine, wish you good luck!
