      Hello!

I'd like to identify all Windows 10 PC's using the network. When I try using NtopNG, it treats all Windows 10 / 11 as windows 10.
Is there a way to identify just Windows 10?

      Thanks

@detox I've never used NtopNG but the version string for 11 is "10.0.26100.xx" so I've seen that sort of thing before. Does it give you the full version?

Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.

Can you tell me what you use? I've seen instructions for NtopNG and Nmap... I do not see anything labeled as version string. Where would I see the "version string"?
I am not well versed in this, my apologies

@detox The "ver" command line program shows:

            C:\>ver

            Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26100.6584]

The Windows command "winver" works also.

I was asking if you see that in NtopNG since I have no idea.

We don't identify that at the router because for our clients we have records of the PCs and most have our ITS TeamCare agent on them anyway, so we have all sorts of automated reporting.
