      Hello,

      I have netgate 5100 running 25.07.1-RELEASE
      was running LLDP prior to upgrading, post upgrade at some point the LLDP service has stopped running. I found a thread in the forum that suggested removing/installing the package. I was able to remove the package but I no longer see it in the list of available packages.

      I tried the following below and now it seems its in a some sort of loop:

      pkg-static install -f pkg
      Updating pfSense-core repository catalogue...
      pfSense-core repository is up to date.
      Updating pfSense repository catalogue...
      pfSense repository is up to date.
      All repositories are up to date.
      The following 1 package(s) will be affected (of 0 checked):

      Installed packages to be DOWNGRADED:
              pkg: 2.2.2_2 -> 1.21.3_5 [pfSense]

      Number of packages to be downgraded: 1

      The operation will free 7 MiB.
      17 MiB to be downloaded.

      You may need to manually remove /usr/local/etc/pkg.conf if it is no longer needed.

        @posix I had that issue to after going 25.07.1, but the lldpd package was still available after the uninstall and pkg-static “downgrade” command. It also worked without issues after installing the package again.

        I would try a reboot

        Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)
