Seems pretty simple to me.  I have a static ip address from my isp(nothing blocked), on my wan interface.  i have a webserver on my lan of 192.168.1.110.  I created aset of  rules to forward port 80 from wan interface to lan address of server.  what else is there?

That LAN forward is wrong, remove it. Though I don't think it would break anything. You also need a firewall rule to allow the traffic. See also

ok thanks I have it working now.  But I do have another question.  I have 2 domains that I need to host on one server(which has 4 nics), and I only have one static IP address from my ISP.  how do i resolve the domains in NAT to goto the right site?

This is not possible with pfSense.
Depending on your webserver you can create multiple "virtual hosts" on it which answer depending on the URL in the request.

We do what we must, because we can.
