    Netgate 4200 firmware / bios , how to know if one is available?

      If I go to System > Netgate Firmware Upgrade I get this message:

      The following input errors were detected:

    This function is not available for this hardware model

      I can't seem to find any information saying where to download the firmware / BIOS from, and is there a new version?

      More importantly I'd like to know where to check an authoritative source in the future.

      Worth noting the 4200 has two types of BIOS, and I guess two types of motherboards:

        There have not been any BIOS updates for the 4200, either for the AMI or SBL variants. Also it's not currently possible to switch between them if that's what you were considering.

          Whats a good method to keep myself informed if a firmware update does come out?

          Would this come up on the pfSense Security Advisories Mailing List? Anything similar?
