    @sullrich:

    Please supply the wan addresses in question.  The CARP ip needs to lie in the same subnet as the wan IP.

    Is there any way to make this work when the WAN address is set up for bridging? 
    In our scenario, we have a WAN IP address, and the ISP (in this case our data center) routes traffic for a different public subnet to that IP.  We currently have proxy ARP set up to NAT those IPs to internal IPs, but obviously we are having difficulty with FTP and cannot use CARP for the NAT IPs.

      FTP Sesame handles bridged interfaces.  This should be working.
