MSN and gmail problem after instaling pfsense
-
Hi, i installed m0n0wall in my firm with 20 people and some can connect to MSN, some can't. When i want to read gmail over web (http) is take so much time to load and afterwards it gives me note that i try with https which sometimes work.
What could be the problem? If i go back on plain router everyone can connect to MSN and gmail is working OK.

This is a forum about pfSense and not about m0n0wall.
Their forum is here: http://forum.m0n0.ch/ -
You know… I've been having a problem with gmail too, and I didn't think it was related to pfSense until I read this thread. I just switched to pfSense, and now when I log into gmail (after clicking on anything, like an email itself) the site hangs for about 10 seconds and then gives this error:
Some Gmail features have failed to load due to an Internet connectivity problem. If this problem persists, try reloading the page, using the older version, or using basic HTML mode. Learn More.
After hitting "ok" on the error window, one can continue using gmail… albeit with some unknown feature disabled.
Another interesting note, I don't experience this error with Firefox... only with Chrome, that is why I did not suspect pfSense.

I use GMail through pfSense every day and don't have a problem so it's not a generic pfSense issue. Unfortunately without knowing more about your setup it's hard to help you ;)

I've seen this same thing with Chrome on one of my Macs (but oddly, not on another). I resolved it by using the Clear Browsing Data… option to clear everything.
I found this solution on a Chrome forum, so I don't think it's pfSense related.

That worked :). Sorry pfSense mods!
