        I'm having the same trouble. I went to install today's update and now I'm out. I can't uninstall or re-install.

          Have you tried also reinstalling squidGuard? That error implies that squidguard is in the config but isn't installed.

            I reinstalled both and now I'm seeing three squid processes running on my dashboard:

            Interestingly enough, I do a "ps -ax" at the console and it only shows one process. Is there a way to "restart" the dashboard or somehow clear it out?

              That would imply that there are multiple <service>entries for squid in your config file. Not sure how that would have happened, but you can probably make a backup of your config, edit them out, and restore.

              (Or use viconfig from the console)

              There should only be one entry like this:

                              <service><name>squid</name>
                                      <rcfile>squid.sh</rcfile>
                                      <executable>squid</executable>
                                      <description>Proxy server Service</description></service>
              ```</service>
                Son of a gun…you're right! I found the three identical services just as you figured. It's finally up and running. <keeps fingers="" crossed="">Thanks, Jimp!</keeps>
