Can you choose the boot slice from the shell in pfSense? I am running 1.2.3 on an Alix and I loaded mod_security for a test and now the GUI on port 80 is not working. I want to boot from my clean pfSense load on the second slice without having to go to the location and connect a serial cable.

Not easily. You can look at the source of /usr/local/www/diag_nanobsd.php and see what it does on switch. You can do that by hand, too, but there is a lot of room for error.

Not a problem, I can drive there tomorrow. Better to test on this one than units I have in other cities.
