I'm running pfsense on a VMWare box, and I've installed Freeswitch on it, to make sure it has enough umph I want to enable the virtual machine to use two CPU's, but how do I check whether I've installed the pfsense with a single cpu or multi cpu kernel?
I simply can't remember what I chose back when I installed it  ::)

uname -a from the shell will give you the kernel loaded. You want the one that ends _SMP

And know when I've found out that I don't have the multi cpu kernel, how do I go about changing the kernel, a complete reinstall?
