Can someone recommend the smallest device such as Netgate products BUT with capability to install.

I currently have http://www.netgate.com/product_info.php?cPath=60_85&products_id=831 but I cannot install packages - even if I could it is not supported.  I am therefore looking for similar form factor but ability to install packages.

      Any suggestions?  Thanks.

With 1.2.3 the embedded install can do packages.  At least, that's what was said on this board and I have the option to on my embedded install.

You might want to look at Mini-box website.

I might suggest the FIT-PC.  You can find them at http://www.fit-pc.com/web/

I just purchased one and received it today actually.  I installed pfSense and actually am currently setting it up.

They have several models to choose from.

What you have is fine. Either flash it to the NanoBSD image or do a full install on the CF card; buy an industrial CF if you're worried about write cycles, but it looks like you've got decent flash so you'd probably be fine anyway.
