Haproxy stats page not showing after use backend server

Hi,

when using the 192.168.2.127/haproxy?stats page the first time this works fine.
when using the 192.168.2.127/application, the application works fine

however, from now on, so from the moment the client accesses the application, the stats page gets redirected to the back-end server of the application instead of being processed by haproxy.

is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

I saw this in a recent thread at the haproxy website.  I thinking you are missing "option httpclose" or some other option in the webserver section.  Look here: http://www.formilux.org/archives/haproxy/subject.html for the haproxy threads.
