      Hello, i have build my own home server with a dell poweredge 1750 and pfsense for menage my 100/100 mbit internet connection and 9 pc.
      I want know if i can run others little services like eggdrop/psybnc/pbnc etc using pfsense shell and his freebsd installation… and if yes what pakage i need to install..

        It's not recommended to run extra services on your firewall, especially not an IRC bot. It's a gaping security hole waiting to be exploited.

        If you really want to continue down that unsupported road, there are some articles on the doc wiki about installing FreeBSD packages from the shell.
