Is it possible to have multiple subnets on the LAN while using carp? I have followed the instructions in this article http://doc.pfsense.org/multiple-subnets-one-interface-pfsense.pdf on my redundant pfSense setup. My ultimate goal is to have the following

      –--- pfsense1  (LAN: 10.0.1.2, 10.0.2.2)
wan---             |        (CARP Virtual IP: 10.0.1.1, 10.0.2.1) <- Active Redundant Gateways
               ----- pfsense2  (LAN: 10.0.1.3, 10.0.2.3)

and use the CARP Virtual IPs as the gateways for redundancy. I currently have this working with the 10.0.1.0 example but would like to add the 10.0.2.0 network

When I go to add the VIP 10.0.2.1 I get an error that that network doesn't exist on the lan interface. That network is active as an alias on the lan and I can ping between the two pfsense boxes using the aliased IPs.

Are you trying to reach more redundancy by using two subnets or you really need to connect two subnets to LAN?
