      Hi Guys,

      Just installed:2.0-BETA1
built on Sat Dec 26 10:18:01 EST 2009

Great firewall! My Dashboard isn't working too well however - It seems to be installed OK, and I have the default 'System Information', and 'Interfaces' widgets on, however, I can't add anymore. IE8 is also saying there is a scripting error on the page, as per below.

      Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; Tablet PC 2.0; MS-RTC LM 8)

in ie8 click the compatability mode button at the end of the address bar and see if  that helps.

If I fix one more thing than I break in a day, it's a good day!

Thanks for the advice - Didn't make a difference. :( I have tried restarting the webConfigurator also.
When attempting to add new widgets, they add, but the information never comes through, just sits there with the wheel spinning around.

have you tried an alternative browser such as firefox or chrome? that will tell us if it is a problem with your install or just a general incompatability with ie8

Yeah, I have tried it with Chrome and the problem is still present - Tried it on several computers on my LAN aswell, So it's definitely something to do with the pFSense box itself somewhere.

I was running a previous version of pFSense where i had to download the Dashboard package manually and it still had issues - When clicking the add extra widget button, nothing would happen, not even give you a list of available widgets to add.

This is why i upgraded to the new 2.0Beta. It's getting further now and allows me to add widgets successfully, however when they add they just sit there unable to obtain data. I removed the System Info one from my dashboard, and it won't re-add, presumable from this IE scripting error i mentioned above.

Kinda fixed it using the trick below:

                http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,21611.msg111234.html#msg111234

Added widgets successfully now, but they can't be moved around from the GUI.

That problem was fixed quite a while ago. Update to a recent snapshot and it should work.
