This might not belong in this forum.  I'll post it here as the config in question is a dual-router CARP setup (2 x ALIXs) with multiple WAN.  We've had the primary router fail twice in the last month.  The first time, the OS appeared to be corrupted, which may have been the cause or merely the result of whatever happened.  The CF card appeared to be good (r/w badblocks test), so I reflashed it (2G nanobsd 1.2.3-RELEASE), restored the config and all was well…

Until this morning, when the primary went down again.  If I serial console in and boot the device with no network connected, it appears to be fine.  If I start it while connected to it's peer (1 LAN, 2 WAN, 1 SYNC), it halts with:

Sleeping thread (tid 64061, pid 497) owns a non-sleepable lock

and reboots endlessly.  It doesn't seem to mind having my laptop connected to any of the interfaces, so this makes me think it's a CARP problem.  If anyone has any ideas, I would grateful.  My ability to troubleshoot is limited as this is a production setup and I'm wary of messing with it too much for fear of knocking the secondary router offline.
