Previously the upgrade releases were marked with Wrap in the filename, however recently there is now updates with Embedded in the file name?  I am assuming that these can run on the Wrap plaform as well???  Can someone confirm before I try to upgrade???

        Hmmm, only WRAP?
I mean shouldn't embedded work with Soekris net4801 and net4501?
Or does this Kernel need any changes to work with Soekris SBCs properly?
I'm asking this because I still have a couple of Soekris SBCs running m0n0wall that I would like to port to pfSense as soon as it is stable enough.
BTW it would be nice to have some packages working with the embedded versions as soon as pfSense reaches 1.0stable…
Any chances you put back some packages when that happens?
        Cheers

The reason the name was changed is because it works on Soekris and WRAP both.

Packagesupport might be split in 2 sorts of packages (suitable for all platforms / suitable for embedded builds). So you possible will be able to install packages that make sense for small platforms (limited diskspace, cf-usage, limited cpu-power), but there is no final decision on that. This definitely won't make it in 1.0 though.

No worries, we wouldn't want to postpone 1.0 just because of that ;).
