Hello.  I have a Nokia ip530 FW appliance.  Because of its lack of keyboard and VGA ports, I have installed 1.2.3 embedded to its HDD via a second machine.  But I would also like to install packages, which requires a RW FS.  Can I accomplish that by just changing /etc/platform to 'pfsense' and rebooting, or is there a way to enable console with the full HDD install, or is there yet another approach?  Thanks for reading and any replies.

You can use the full version and enable the serial console under System > Advanced. It's the first option on the page.

Oh, jeez.  I gathered you could only have the serial access by installing the embedded version.  Thanks for the quick reply.
