IPSEC with certs up, but had to set asn1dn in racoon.conf manually

I was able to get a connection working between 2 sites using certs, but only if I manually edit racoon.conf and set  peers_identifier asn1dn; and my_identifier asn1dn;

These are lost on reboot.

Is there some way to save these custom settings (or fix the UI so that IPSEC with certs will work?)
