I'm having a bit of trouble making local DNS work.  I'm using this morning's build (2.0-BETA1 built on Sun Feb 21 05:56:33 EST 2010) but also tried Friday's build.

My settings are pretty basic.  I've put Open DNS servers and Google DNS on my System / General.

I've enabled the option to put DHCP leased addresses in the DNS forwarder.  I've verified that each computer I've tested with all our picking up the pfsense box as their DNS server, yet none of them are able to resolve the hostnames.  I've tried with and without the .local domain (ie ps3 and ps3.local, ata and ata.local) and yet name resolution always fails.  Name resolution also fails from the pfsense shell.

Possibly related, I have the firewall aliases VOIPers / gamers = ATA / Dans-PS3, Wii and get the following errors in the system log:```
Feb 21 21:02:12 filterdns: host_dns: could not parse "Dans-PS3": hostname nor servname provided, or not known
Feb 21 21:02:12 filterdns: host_dns: could not parse "Wii": hostname nor servname provided, or not known
Feb 21 21:02:12 filterdns: host_dns: could not parse "ATA": hostname nor servname provided, or not known

Some pictures of settings are below.  Has anyone had this problem or any insight on how to fix it?  It would be much appreciated.

Yeah that doesn't appear to be working.
