    Hi all,
I've just built a new pfsense RELENG 1.2 ISO following the instructions in this page:
    http://devwiki.pfsense.org/DevelopersBootStrapAndDevIso

I used 32 bit FreeBSD 7.2 to build the ISO. However, when I booted the newly built ISO, it always hang with a blue screen. The bottom of the screen displayed "Waiting for backend" message just like what was described in this thread:
    http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=3855.msg23606

    Can someone help me out?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Ang Way Chuang

How far does it get into the boot process before this happens?

Usually the only 'blue' screen is in the installer section, which is not normally part of the boot process.

Sorry for the late reply. It was long weekend last week for Malaysia.

Nothing happens. The blue screen just stuck forever and the bottom of the screen just displayed "Waiting for backend". Should I use the "RELENG_1_2_3_RELEASE" to build the ISO instead of using the latest git commit?

        Thanks.
