I've searched the docs, faqs and forums and though I've found many similar issues none of the solutions seem to work for me.

      My setup:
pfSense 2.0-BETA1  (built on Mon Mar 8 02:06:39 EST 2010)
      Lan: 10.0.1.1 subnet 255.255.255.0
      no. pptp users: 16
      pptp server address: 10.0.1.254
      pptp remote address range: 10.0.1.192
      firewall rule:

      • pass interface pptp vpn, protocol any, source any, destination any, gateway default

I can connect to the vpn, ping and access the internet (WAN), ping and access the pfsense machines web interface at 10.0.1.1
However, I cannot access any machine on the LAN (such as one at 10.0.1.2). Checking the client it has got ip 10.0.1.192 as expected but it reports using default gateway "0.0.0.0". That looks suspicious, but the LAN-WAN routing seems to work..?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      /Erik

I'm having exactly the same problem. It doesn't seem to be blocked packets because I'm not seeing any blocked PPTP traffic in the logs. I turned on logging for the PPTP rule that I had set up to pass traffic and I did notice that the interface showing up in the logs for packets that are passed is 'WAN'. My Monowall firewall shows the same traffic on the interface 'PPTP' which may be a clue to the problem. I'm not finding any of the traffic that is not getting through in any logs that I know of.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I had searched the bugs but somehow I missed that one. I used the workaround that Chris Buechler had posted in the bug and it seems to be working for me.
