Hello, i did a fresh install of pfSense for the first time. All went well, and the box is currently up and fully accessible.

My problem is, i can't get an internet connection.

I have it connected to my ISP Modem with DHCP, and all the values are correct:

      WAN interface (re0)
      Status up
      DHCP up
      MAC address 00:22:2d:27:b4:32
      IP address 192.168.1.27
      Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
      Gateway 192.168.1.10
      ISP DNS servers 212.113.161.226
      208.67.222.222
      Media 1000baseTX <full-duplex>In/out packets 1671/809 (1.41 MB/72 KB)
      In/out errors 0/0
      Collisions 0
      LAN interface (re1)
      Status up
      MAC address 00:22:2d:27:8a:ad
      IP address 192.168.1.1
      Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
      Media 1000baseTX <full-duplex>In/out packets 1174/708 (126 KB/415 KB)
      In/out errors 0/0
      Collisions 0</full-duplex></full-duplex>

But when i go, for example, to the packages section, it says "Unable to communicate with pfSense…" and i cannot ping, traceroute using the built-in utils, meaning i have no internet connection on the pfSense box.

Any ideas of what can be causing this?

      Thanks in advance

Your WAN and LAN interfaces are on the same subnet. This will not work. Try changing your LAN IP to 192.168.0.1.

In addition to that, you will likely need to leave the "Block private networks" box unchecked for WAN in this case.
