I was running MonoWall for as my router and switched to PFSense and now RemoteVNC stopped working.

I have scoured the internet bu am unsure of the problem, Remote VNC does not work like the rest of the VNC tools out there its a P2P VNC Tool using libjingle (http://code.google.com/apis/talk/libjingle/index.html)

if I use my laptop directly on the internet, not going thru PF its works fine.

I think its something to do with the NAT (may be the firewall) but am really unsure where to go at this point to resolve the issue.

My PF Sense Configuration consists of 4 networks WAN, LAN, Wireless AND Sync.  I have two routers setup with CARP for High Availability. The only interface with any real rules is the Wireless the lan/wan lets everything pass so I'm not blocking anything and this VNC does not require any port forwarding (thats what the lib jingle does).

Lost, on where to go from here. I will gladdly supply more information that you would find helpful for this issue.

      Thanks,
      Erin

I remember at some point i had similar problems.
I solved it by enabling static ports:
        http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Static_Port

We do what we must, because we can.

Sadly that was not the problem.

I change that checkbox and its no different then before.

Just for fun, I changed back to automatic nat and it still does not work.

          Stupid Computer!
