      I read that the carpdev-hacks have been removed and carpdev is not planned for neither pfsense 1.2.x nor 2.x. for good reasons.

      And carpdev is not yet in freebsd, but seems to be in alpha.

      Has anybody any information on whether or when freebsd or pfsense will support carpdev? Suppose freebsd will have a working carpdev implementation in itself, will it be asy to make pfsense aware of it?
