    Getting "no link detected" with majority of interfaces

      Getting the "no link detected" error for various interfaces - strange thing is that they are "detected" as valid interfaces and their MAC's displayed in the general install output: rl0, fxp0,dc0….

      The link lights show as "up" on the relevant interfaces, and further, those same interfaces have worked with a linux distribution on the same physical machine.

        It varies from card to card and driver to driver, but some combinations are just not capable of automatic link detection.

        If you assign them manually and set them up, they will likely work just fine.
