      Hi Guys,

      I have cofigured LoadBalancing and FailOver according to the doc (http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Multi_WAN_/_Load_Balancing) at Pfsense . The loadbalancing works but the round robin is not consistent when i check on whatismyIp.com.

      Now here is a more serious problem, once the firewall is configured for LoadBalancing and FailOver Ftp doesnot work, has anybody faced the same issue. Please advice. I am using pfSense 1.2.2.

      Thank You.

        Are you trying to use SFTP?  If so, the server will not like seeing multiple external IP addresses.  You should make a rule for your LAN to pass secure ports to only one of the two gateways.

          I am not trying to use SFTP, I have no other rules on the LAN interface but just

          LAN Net –--pass--> gateway: LoadBalancing

          When i try ftp from my windows machine to ftp.redhat.com i get the following error message..

          C:\Documents and Settings\XXX>ftp ftp.redhat.com

          ftp: connect :Unknown error number
          ftp> quit

          Please Advice.

            Sorry I forgot to mention Http works fine and it fails over fine, but ftp does not even connect with the LoadBalancing & FailOver  Setup

            Thank You
