        Dear Vito,

        Same here.

        I am also running:

        FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p5 i386
        1.2.3-RELEASE
        Snort 2.8.5.3 pkg v. 1.21

Also restart Snort need to go through a number of steps (no so user friendly as the old version) and aslo it is not everytime success to Enable Snort.

I have now switch to Manual update snort.

Yep I lost my settings when I upgraded, too.

It was no biggie tho because I had installed the Notes package and documented the SNORT config there.  Really tho the only thing worth documenting is the SNORT code.

Speaking for myself, LOVE the new SNORT GUI enhancements…a positive step in the right direction, to be sure.

Pretty sure I tossed JamesDean some $$ for his efforts...
