After doing a fresh install of http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_8_1/amd64/pfSense_HEAD/livecd_installer/pfSense-2.0-BETA1-20100420-2206.iso.gz

I noticed that DNS forwarding wasn't working and found the following error mesage in the log any time I tried to start the dnsmasq process.

      php: : The command '/usr/local/sbin/dnsmasq --local-ttl 1 --all-servers --dns-forward-max=5000 --cache-size=10000 --dhcp-hostsfile=/var/etc/hosts ' returned exit code '127', the output was '/usr/local/sbin/dnsmasq: not found'

I checked via the shell and sure-enough, dnsmaq isn't there.

Thanks for pointing me to that, pkg_add -r dnsmasq worked for me too.

Resurrecting an old thread here but it's worth mentioning that the amd64 build should be OK now.
