      Hi there

I've installed the nmap-package on my pfSense2.0-betatest-box. nmap didn't work until after I had manually fetched and installed two packages (lua-5.1.4 and pkg-config-0.23_1) from the freebsd-package repository. Now, nmap seems to have problems with the network interfaces:

      [root@betatest.local]/proc(106): nmap 192.168.1.1

      Starting Nmap 5.00 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2010-04-29 14:06 GMT
Warning: Unable to open interface vr0 -- skipping it.
Warning: Unable to open interface vr1 -- skipping it.
WARNING: Unable to find appropriate interface for system route to 10.234.208.1
WARNING: Unable to find appropriate interface for system route to 10.234.208.1
nexthost: failed to determine route to 192.168.1.1
      QUITTING!

      [root@betatest.local]/proc(107): uname -a
      FreeBSD betatest.local 8.0-STABLE FreeBSD 8.0-STABLE #0: Tue Mar 23 20:44:00 EDT 2010     sullrich@FreeBSD_8.0_pfSense_2.0-snaps.pfsense.org:/usr/obj.pfSense/usr/pfSensesrc/src/sys/pfSense_wrap.8.i386  i386

192.168.1.1 is the IP-Address of this machine and 10.234.208.1 is the default-route on vr0. The error occurs for any IP-Address other than localhost.

Am I missing something? Has any one any suggestions/ideas how to fix this?

      Best regards,
      dsd

I get similar errors on my box but if I delete the pkg from the CLI and then pkg_add -r nmap, it seems to work.

So it must need recompiled again.
