    Snort pkg v1.22 (possibly later vers too) uninstall broke system

      When I've uninstalled Snort v1.22 (the only package being installed) in the next reboot pfsense was not working and in the console instead of the assigned interfaces this message appeared:

      Fatal error: Call to undefined function preg_match() in etc/inc/interfaces.inc on line 3022

      pfsense has no IP address and entering "Assign interfaces" in the console menu gives me the same error that before. Only solution I found: reinstall.

      Snort was working fine before this.
