    Hi !

    I configure PFSENSE DHCP server:

    mac: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx  ==> IP: 10.10.10.211

    But I can connect  one other PC (Mac=yy:yy:yy:yy:yy:yy) if my IP is fixed 10.10.10.211  ????

    ie  is it possible only  mac: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx  <==> IP: 10.10.10.211

    Thanks

      To clarify, you mean you connect a PC whose interface is set to static IP address 10.10.10.211? Or do you mean pfSense DHCP assigns IP address 10.10.10.211 to a PC whose MAC address is not xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx? Or do you mean something else?

          It sounds like he wants to do static ARP.

          He assigned an IP address to a MAC address, but was surprised to find that he could use that IP from another machine if it's hardcoded.

          If he wants to lock down the IP<-> MAC association, the only way to do that is with static ARP, but if you do that you have to hardcode all of them.

                You set it up under the DHCP server options:

                http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/DHCP_Server
