Installation of pfSense on fit-pc2i miniSD
-
I'm trying to install pfsense 2.0 beta 1 on a diskless fit-PC2i.
The fit-PC2i has a front panel slot for miniSD (SDHCI hardware, I suppose), and I would like to use a 512MB miniSD as default boot media.
I started the .iso pfsense installer from CD, but it is unable to recognize the inserted miniSD: it reports that no disk are inserted. I have been able to install pfsense on USB pendrive on my fit-PC2i with the same CD.Is installation of pfsense supported on SDHCI devices ?
Thank you

Does the fit-PC2i support booting from SD?

Thank you for your answer.
I just discovered that… no, there is no way to boot from miniSD on fit-PC2 >:(

I think that booting from SD readers in platform which supports or will support it will be an interesting feature for pfSense. (asus eeeepc ?)
