Layer 7 still not working?

I try block bittorrent with Snapshot created in 17/05 (64bit) and not happening, all traffic is allowed, snapshot which is known to be functional with layer 7 support?

May 3rd seems to handle L7 (block BitTorrent) correctly, but unfortunately it is unstable.
I get either kern.too many open files or out of swap space or some other messages. I'm not quite sure is this due to L7 recognition on Limiter related thing or something else.
Still the platform (Alix 2D3 + 1Gb CF) crashes like once a day or so.

any word from developers regarding L7 and blocking bittorrent
