Hi, we are using pfsense 1.2.3 and it seems that when I have traffic shaping turned on and I specify the amount of bandwidth we are receiving from the provider, it does not allow the WAN (as designed to do so) and OPT interface exceed the bandwidth limitations. How do I disable this on the OPT? For OPT we have a 8 mbps DSL connected, and we have a 1.5 mbps t1 on the WAN which does VoIP.
If this will not be available until pfsense 2.0, will there be an upgrade path from 1.2.3 to 2.0? I know that 2.0 is coming out very shortly.

Traffic shaping doesn't work properly on 1.2.x with multiple WANs, this is one of its well-known limitations. You can't fix the problem you are seeing without making traffic shaping essentially useless on the downstream side.

You can upgrade from 1.2.x to 2.0 without any problems, or that is the goal. It won't be out "shortly" though, it's several months away from anything like that.
