I'm not sure if this is signal or noise, but after resetting to Factory Defaults the number 1 appeared in a number of random fields on the WAN setup page as I was running the setup wizard. No particular order, and not always fields that had been previously populated, such as PPPoE. I was running: 2.0-BETA2 built on Mon May 24 05:44:58 EDT 2010 on an IBM xSeries 305 with a hard drive and some blah blah RAM…

I'm not able to reproduce this on a snapshot from today:
built on Tue May 25 07:05:23 EDT 2010

Can you upgrade and try again?

I have upgraded, reset to defaults and went to the wizard - the magic 1 is back. I will slide the slave into production and keep this one online for you if you want to have a peek around in it. You can find me in #pfsense unless I am messing with firewall hardware.

On a similar note, it seems that packages don't get un-installed when reset to factory defaults, however their listing on the installed packages page is removed.
