Right now i do have 2 real interfaces:

      • re0: RealTek 8168/8168B/8168C/8168CP/8168D/8111B/8111C/8111CP PCIe Gigabit Ethernet
      • sf0: Adaptec ANA-62044 (rev 1) 10/100BaseTX (4-in-1 card)

The re0 is my LAN-interface, the sf0 is my WAN-interface.

Now, I set up a link between another UTP-port of the Adaptec ANA-62044 card (sf1) and my cable router.  There it was possible to change the name into WAN-telenet (name of my cable ISP).  How can I change the name of my WAN-interface (sf0) to WAN-Scarlet (My adsl ISP)??

In 1.2.3 it's not possible to change the name of the WAN and LAN interface.
        This is possible in 2.0_BETA

We do what we must, because we can.

Please read the 2.0 forum and understand that you'll be running a beta (in other words not yet ready for production use) version of pfSense.

I did already find the update option for 2.0, but indeed it's still beta, so i'll wait.
Do anyone have an idea when 2.0 will be available for production?
