I just bought this board off ebay and im quiet confused on the type of connector it needs to be powered up ?

      http://www.unicorn-computer.com.tw/products/itx/2794a.html

it seems that it takes a 2 pin floppy connector ?

Did you consider asking the manufacturer?

It looks to be an external 12V input (see here).

it looks like a 2 pin floppy connector. from the looks of it and the pdf states its a 12v dc 2 pin wafer connector.

what the hell does that mean

I'm not sure your frustration is good justification for swearing on the boards…

As I may have said before - ask the manufacturer.  If that fails possibly even do a Google search or try an ITX specific forum.

Tricky, it's not easy to find a psu ready made with this conector.
Since it's 12V input it's probably designed to be installed in an enclosure with a short cable from the board to socket on the case.
If I were you I'd use an old AT powersupply connector and just take out the three pins you're not using. Put what ever type of connector is convenient on the end, probably a 2.5mm barrel socket.

However you need to know the connector type, the polarity or wiring of the pins and the required amperage.

                    Here you go:

Might be hard to find where ever you are though. As Cryhavoc says you'd best still check the polarity yourself before powering it up. (if it's at all well designed it should have a blocking diode)
