QoS in floating rules only or in LAN specific rules too?
-
Hi, sorry if this has been explained before, but I have a very hard time getting an answer to this question.
After reading through through threads explaining qos+floating rules I created floating rules for all services I want to shape specifying the appropriate queues.
All floating rules are outbound, quick, and I haven't selected any interfaces in any of those rules.Of course I also need rules on lan interfaces to even allow packets in.
Should appropriate queues in interface specific rules be selected too, or not (leave queue as "none")?Thanks, any info/help on this would be greatly appreciated!
