      I have been thinking about it, and it would work…

      if you could develop the interface to do it it would be great, or maybe even use pound (www.apsis.ch/pound/) rather than the current load balancer to allow this as a option?

      if anyone is intrested in doing this it would make my day... ;D

          I'm not really interested in a userland proxy.  The very next complaint will be why the source IP isn't preserved to the web server.  With that said, a userland proxy can (and should) be done as a package if there's any interest.
